A Butchery with Deep Local Roots
The Proud Sow Crofton Park shop, located near Brockley, has been a working butchery since 1908. When we took over in 2014, we made it our mission to honour that legacy while elevating the craft with modern standards of quality, provenance, and customer experience. The result is a shop where traditional methods meet contemporary taste.
In 2018, we expanded to The Proud Sow Dulwich Village, bringing our approach to a second neighbourhood that values exceptional produce and genuine craftsmanship. Both shops share the same ethos: knowledgeable butchers, responsibly sourced meat, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
